So this week as I was reading in the scriptures about Jesus Christ and some of the talks from General Conference 2010, one of the apostles mentioned Jesus Christ’s life as “A Legacy of Love” He truly lived a perfect life and He loved every single person to walk in His path. He loves us, He is there for us, He knows our strengths and weeknesses. Only through Him and His atonement can we live with our Father in Heaven once again.
Another story I hope you remembered from this General Conference. President Thomas S. Monson tells the story of the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland… “When Alice was faced with a fork in the road, the Cheshire Cat appeared and Alice asked, Which path should I follow? His answer, That depends on where you want to go. If you do not know where you want to go, it doesn’t matter which path you take.” President Monson goes on to say… We all know where we want to go, and it DOES matter which way we go, for by choosing our path, we choose our destination. LOVE IT! 🙂 I am SO EXCITED for General Conference in 2 weeks!
So this week was super fast and we are progressing here in the area 🙂
As for Hna. Francisca!!!! She is not leaving until the 15th of April, SO her baptism will be Friday, April 5. Right before conference 🙂 I AM SO EXCITED. She is SO prepared. Came to church yesterday with her less active sister Guadalupe 🙂 It was SO sweet to have them there. She is so ready I cannot even explain it. She has a VERY strong testimony of the church and wants to share it with everyone she knows. She is absolutely amazing! A HUGE blessing in my life.
On Saturday (after our lesson with Hna. Francisca) we all went to the Relief Society celebration for the 171st Anniversary of the Relief Society. It was really awesome and the women and some of the men dressed up as pioneers. They even performed a dance that the pioneers would dance. 🙂 It was really awesome and I was just thinking how incredible the Relief Society is and how many people have received blessings through their service. It is the largest organization of women in the whole world. It is seriously such a huge blessing.
Funny service project of the week… We helped an hermana make Judas piñatas for Easter… She told us that they sell like hotcakes. Can you imagine? Little kids breaking open a piñata of Judas (the apostle that betrayed Jesus) HAHAHHAHAH! It is like voodoo… hahahahhaha 🙂
Counting Blessings: THE LIAHONA!!!!!!!!! 🙂 (This is the Ensign, a church magazine that is sent outside the USA) Seriously every time that we get a Liahona magazine it is like Christmas. We get to read them every month and they bring me so much happiness and insights 🙂
I LOVE YOU ALL! Thank you so much for your support and prayers.
