So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye.

I hate to go and leave this pretty sight… you know the rest. 🙂

I AM DISTRAUGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!! :((((((((( I am leaving Zacatelco… I have only had 3 months here and have fallen in love with the area and I am just not content with this change. Elder Logroño is also leaving so we are “closing” the area. :((((( I am just really sad. Who knows what the Lord has in store for me in these next months of my mission but I trust him, and know he knows better than I. I have had to leave the area book SPOTLESS and I think I overdid things… hahahah! I drew a map, like detailled sp? map that will help these new missionaries. (They think we are getting sister missionaries here.) We are leaving 7 investigators with baptismal dates. I really hope these missionaries work hard because this area is flourishing with work 😉 (did that make sense)
Anyway, I am sad to go… truly I love the people. We are starting our Pday at 4 today to say bye to families… here come the tears.
I was super super sad when I got the news on Thursday so I read a scripture that brought peace to my heart. Thought I would share it with you… 🙂
Mosiah 24:13-14

13 And it acame to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me; and I will covenant with my people and deliver them out of bondage.

14 And I will also ease the aburdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand asbwitnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their cafflictions.

Well, you will get the news of a new area and new journey next week.
I have really learned soooooooo much these past 3 months with Elder Logroño. He is a great Elder with so much potential. I love him, and I think I will miss him.  😉
Next week, I will have 9 months left in this mission… can you believe that!?
I LOVE YOU ALL SO DEARLY! Prayers for me in my new adventures this week please.
I love this quote that will be my theme for this change… “The better approach to life is to remember the past with gratitude, live with joy in the present, and have great hope for the future”
TE AMO!
