His Infinite Love

So this week I was studying the Atonement of Jesus Christ 🙂 The Atonement consists of the Saviors suffering in Gethsemane, the crucifixion, and His Resurrection. The Atonement is so important and there are so many different things that you can study about, but I focused on LOVE.

I found this and would love to share it with you 🙂
His powers; spiritual, emotional, psychological, and life giving powers were placed on the altar of sacrifice without resistance. He gave until there was nothing left to give, nothing left to do. He had a love, day after day, hour for hour, even moment for moment. A love that extends from the pre-existence until the eternities. As we naturally and regularly seek for air, He sought to bless and love.
Here are some scriptures that you can study if you want too 🙂 D&C 78:18; ROMANS 8: 35-39, D&C 133:53, 1 Nephi 11:17.
The Atonement is infinite and it is the only way that we can return to live with our Father in Heaven 🙂 It is a gift that no one else has ever given. Now, we have to live in a way to show our gratitude for it.
This week was super busy with a bunch of stuff… forms, baptismal interviews, going to Puebla, etc. But it was a great week 🙂 We have goals to work much harder and be a better example this week as a companionship. 🙂
New Years Eve was GREAT!!! We went with Hno. Jesus Salado’s family (The Salado Juarez family was out of town). His mom, Emma and his 3 brothers and their wives. They are such a great family and they fed us DELICIOUS FOOD! French toast, pizza, spaghetti, and lots of desserts. SO GOOD 🙂
Alfredo Cedillo, a less active… CAME TO CHURCH YESTERDAY! I pray he stays active because he easily goes back to his not going to church phases… 🙂 He is so great! (He is the Zumba instructor.)
We went to the YSA Activity this Friday to teach about the 3 Wise Men. (It is Dia de Reyes today… where the 3 wise men come and give presents 🙂 We talked about how the 3 Wise Men gave their TREASURES. Their most important gifts… We compared it to the scripture in D&C 82:18 and talked about the talents that we give to the church and the talents our Father in Heaven has given us. Each of them put their talents on paper and put it in a box that they will open next year 🙂 We sang “I Am A Child Of God” and ate “Rosca de Reyes” It is a giant circular bread thing that has hidden baby Jesus inside. If you cut a piece and it has a baby jesus in it you have to make the tamales for another holiday in February 🙂 hahahah! It is a fun holiday 🙂 I like it!
Well, that is my week. I gotta get going 🙂
